Apple abandoned the headphone jack three years ago when it launched the iPhone 7. Samsung quickly took advantage of the situation. And mocked the company in marketing videos for Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9. But yesterday Samsung officially removed the headphone jack of his latest flagships. Now the company is quickly trying to hide his hypocritical past.
As Business Insider discovered, Samsung has started removing all marketing material specifically intended for Apple iPhones. These are from the social media accounts it controls. For this time, the YouTube channel of the company has removed Samsung Mobile USA” with 1.8 million subscribers. The same happened with Samsung’s main channel, followed by 3.8 million people.

One of Samsung’s best-known ads being removed is titled “Growing Up”. Which is now available for viewing only on the company’s Malaysian channel. It is showing an iPhone user who is frustrated by the limitations of the phone despite purchasing the latest model. At one point, the video focuses on the controversial 3.5mm Lightning dongle that Apple used to include in the package. Towards the end of the announcement, the user in question switches to a Galaxy Note 8.
Advancing rapidly towards the launch of the Galaxy S9 in early 2018. Samsung has decided to capitalize on Apple’s controversial decision to strangle iPhones with older batteries inside. The video, quite predictable, focused on the slowness of Apple devices compared to Galaxy brand phones. And, in the end, saw another iPhone user switch to a Samsung. But after yesterday’s Galaxy Note 10 announcement, this particular video is nowhere to be seen.

Completing the list of deleted videos is the entire “brilliant” Samsung series launched last year. The videos focus on a variety of things, including Apple’s low LTE speeds, but there is a brief announcement. It focuses completely on the lack of an iPhone headphone jack, a feature that has the Galaxy Note 9. Fortunately for us, another channel has reloaded all these clips.
