Yesterday a report by one of Apple’s big analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, offered us new information about the upcoming iPhone models. According to the analyst, Apple will include reversible wireless charging in their new models that would be able to charge other devices such as AirPods or Apple Watch.
However, something that also Kuo counted is that to make this possible Apple would increase the size of the battery of the iPhone of 2019. Nothing less than up to 25% extra battery, which would give us an unrivaled autonomy in the iPhone XI, or iPhone 11.
Up to 4 hours more autonomy
According to Kuo, one of the great novelties of the iPhone XI will be a battery of greater capacity. Undoubtedly the other key feature will be the incorporation of the three rear cameras. In addition to all this, we should see a new design with a second generation Face ID.
According to the analyst’s report, these would be the improvements that the new iPhone will have in terms of battery:
- 5.8-inch iPhone battery: between 20 and 25% more, about 4 hours more autonomy.
- 6.5-inch iPhone battery: will grow between 10 and 15 percent, about 2.5 hours more.
- 6.1-inch iPhone battery: will increase less, around 5 percent that could give an hour longer.
If this information is true, all users will undoubtedly appreciate it. Currently, the iPhone XR is the iPhone with the longest battery life Apple sells. Seeing these predictions the battery life of the 2019 iPhone will be quite equal and will be the largest we have ever seen on an iPhone.
This is one of that information that we all want, the battery is one of the main concerns and with these capabilities we could have two days of charging with normal use. Let’s hope so.
