Although the weather signs are obvious, such as the lack of wireless connectivity and the Full HD video limit, for example, the Nikon camera continues to be a cost-effective alternative for anyone who is interested in photography and wants to invest in a camera that goes beyond the capacity of mobile phones.

Design
The DSLR is targeted to the inbound market, bringing a more user-friendly look to inexperienced users. If on the one hand, the model passes away from the portability of the mirrorless, it does not even rival larger professional cameras.
Found in black or red, the D3300 weighs 410 grams, slightly less compared to other DSLR cameras, which pass easy to 700 grams. Regarding the design, the device offers the same ergonomics of the other models of the brand, organizing buttons and selectors within a radius of easy reach of the fingers. The model also features a 3-inch LCD display and resolution of 921,000 points. Nikon explains that the screen allows for 100% framing coverage and offers a viewing angle of 170 °.
Image quality
The camera features a 24.2-megapixel sensor, an APS-C CMOS with 23.5 x 15.6 mm. In terms of ISO – value that signals camera sensitivity – the range goes from 100 to 12,800 (or 25,600 expanded). The higher this value, the greater the light input, which favors the capture of images in low light environments.
The D3300 also features an autofocus system with 11 detection points and, using the Nikon Expeed 4 processor, allows you to capture up to five images per second in continuous shooting mode. With regard to video recording, the Nikon D3300 allows you to shoot in Full HD resolution at rates up to 60 fps.
Connectivity and extra features
In terms of connectivity, the Nikon camera comes with the basics: HDMI output, USB, plus SD memory card slot and a 3.5mm input for microphones. Wireless devices such as Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth are missing from the device, which makes it much easier to transfer files to your PC or smartphone, for example.
The camera comes with an operating system feature called Guide Mode, aimed at beginners. The interface aims to make life easier for those who have never had a DSLR, stuffed with non-existent manual features on simpler models and smartphones.
The Nikon camera can also be used with a mobile accessory: connected to the micro USB port of the phone, this adapter allows images to be transferred to the device without the use of cables. In terms of lenses, the D3300 is compatible with Nikkor DX, or lenses compatible with F mount and AF contacts.
Drums
The battery of the D3300 is the EN-EL14a, and it may be worth considering the investment in an extra unit. According to Nikon, the camera has 700 records with a full charge, a margin that may be small for those who think of using the camera in long sessions.
Price and availability
As Nikon has withdrawn from the Brazilian market, this means that there is no sales channel directly with the manufacturer. Therefore, finding specific accessories and lenses can be more complicated.
With regard to prices, the D3300 can be found in Brazil in a range that is at the house of $ 670 at the moment. The value is compatible with the entry market in the segment of cameras with a more professional footprint, as is the case of Rebel SL2, Canon. Other rivals to the D3300 are its direct successor, the D3400, in addition to Canon’s Rebel T line. The most current is the T7, but there are T5 and T6 versions that are easy to find in e-commerce.
Another option is to buy the used Nikon D3300. The amounts vary widely, but there are offers in the range of $ 1,699, almost $ 1,000 less than the new appliance.
