What will the graphs that will arrive in 2020 look like?
Intel China, through its Weibo account, has published new designs for the graphics cards that the company is preparing for 2020. The original publication, which currently seems missing, did not cite an author, so we could speculate that the company may be in the final stages to select a definitive design for its Xe graphics cards. It is true, on the other hand, that this design is a little away from the sobriety of the first we saw for the Intel GPU, but it is clear that the blue is at an advanced stage throughout the development.
The design in question has a metal housing that covers the cooling system formed by three fans. A curious detail is the LED lighting that shows an “x” in the center and that the power inputs are placed in the “tail” of the card, instead of on the top side. In general, this design is tangentially opposed to the one we already knew, since it not only explores less straight lines, but it is also a large format graphic, especially with that inclusion of two eight-pin PCIe connectors. Either way, there is a stretch until 2020, so we would not be surprised to see more designs of this kind emerge.
