Apple says that when you uninstall an application, it is removed from Mac’s hard drive, freeing up the storage space it was occupying and leaving capacity on the disk to store other elements. The “easiest” option recommended by Apple is to uninstall apps on the Mac from Launchpad or the Finder.
For example, with the first option, the brand of the bitten apple recommends using Launchpad to uninstall apps on the Mac, this is a convenient way to remove apps, however, it only works with apps that have been downloaded directly from the App Store.
To use this option just open the launchpad, this is the rocket icon that appears in the Doc, clicking on the Dock or opening it from the Applications folder displays the list of apps and choosing one will appear the option to delete in a similar way to the one we have in iOS.
Another option is also that you can pinch with your thumb and three fingers on the trackpad, if it does not appear, you can go to the icon of the magnifying glass that is in top right, write the name in the search field and it will appear, you can also Slide your finger to the right or to the left with two fingers on the trackpad to show the next or previous page.
Once in the launchpad you must hold down the Option key (⌥) or click and hold an app selected until they all move, then you can click the X button next to the app you want to delete and then click Remove to confirm.
