As we mentioned, although it is true that Instagram is very useful for many people, the truth is that it is possible that your experience is not the most satisfied with the application, or even that you have decided to abandon any of your projects. And, if this is one of your cases, it is best to delete your account completely, because in this way you will avoid possible future problems. To do this, you just have to follow the following steps:
- First, from a web browser access Instagram.com. It is important that you do this from a browser and not from the official application, as the option is only available from the web version of the social network (if you wish you can directly use your mobile to access).
- Then, enter your username and password to access your account, and as soon as you are logged in, go to the section of your profile.
- Once there, you must click on the ‘Edit profile’ button that will appear right next to your username, which will show you different options.
- Swipe down to the bottom, and click on the blue button ‘Delete my account temporarily’ and then choose one of the reasons from the list and enter your password to continue.
