We must be prepared for an accumulation of comparisons between the AirPods that were presented in 2016 and the new version that was announced last week. For many people, Apple has not done anything new, in addition, to increase somewhat the battery life thanks to the H1 chip and having introduced the wireless charging case.
But if there is something that really interests is to know if the quality of the sound is better in some than in others. After all, the goal of a headset is to provide the best sound experience. And there are already opinions for both tastes. Do you want to know more about this matter?

The sound quality of AirPods under debate
Needless to say, the concept of sound quality is something totally subjective. In this case, we talk about a device that does not bring anything new in terms of design, and it is true that it has improved the latency when playing at 30 percent, but you have to have a very fine ear to be able to discern some differences, in the case there are.
Opinions are how are you, in which the user sees a huge difference of sound.
HOLY CRAP the sound quality on the 2nd Generation Air Pods is WAY BETTER than the 1st gen. Listening to some Daft Punk, it’s a hell of a change, and here I wasn’t even expecting a real jump in sound quality. SHeeeeeeeesh

This comments on a good difference in the audio quality of Siri and FaceTime.
Got new AirPods! Much better sound quality in FaceTime and Siri. Faster switching between devices. Worth upgrading from first gen only if your battery is dying.

However, a member of the MacRumors forum does not appreciate differences
“WHEN I’M LISTENING TO MUSIC, I COULD NOT MAKE ANY DISCERNIBLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY 2 ORIGINAL AIRPODS AND MY WIFE’S AIRPODS.”
Anyway, yesterday Apple introduced an update on the AirPods by which the pairing time was improved, and they say a better sound experience. Personally, I have not been able to appreciate this quality difference after the update.
