Two weeks ago OnePlus dropped the Android 10 update for the OnePlus 7 Pro series. However, according to Reddit users as well as the official OnePlus forums users, many people still don’t have the update.
According to OnePlus, the Android 10 upgrade would be a slow rollout. As OnePlus announced the launch, which suggests there’s been some sort of delay. It’s possible OnePlus stop moving the rollout entirely.
To get some clarity we reach out to OnePlus on the situation but didn’t hear back before press time.
Android 10:
When the Android 10 OnePlus 7 series update launch, it was one of the fastest rollouts in the industry of the latest version of Android. That achievement might seem less attention though if the rollout was stopped moving for some sort of problem.
For what it’s worth, there are many complaints online about the Android 10 update bugs. Although there are so many reports that the software runs smoothly.
In London, OnePlus has a product launch scheduled. Everyone expects to see the OnePlus 7T Pro land. Although we know that the OnePlus 7T will hit store shelves on October 18 (maybe a week early if you can make it to New York City). We also know that OnePlus7T will land with Android 10 out-of-the-box, and it stands to reason that the 7T Pro would as well.
It’s possible OnePlus has halted the rollout of the Android 10 update to get everything polished so early. Adopters of those two devices won’t be worried to find the software not up-to-par with other Oxygen OS releases.
We will update this article when we hear back from OnePlus. Before wrapping up, let us know if you have the Android 10 update on your OnePlus 7 series device. Also, if you want to wait more and get an interesting update now, just follow our instructions here on how to do that.
