Huge Google Pixel 4 Leak

Today could be the Galaxy Note day, but this does not prevent leaks from competing devices. Before today, the Motorola One Zoom leaked almost completely. So, a few hours later, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro was seen in public for the second time. Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, as previously revealed, will have 5.7-inch and 6.3-inch screens respectively. Both will be OLED panels with support for an FHD + resolution (2280 x 1080p) in the case of the smaller device. And a QHD + resolution (3040 x 1440p) in the case of the larger model. However, unlike most of the 2019 flagships, Google does not have a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Instead, the Internet giant has selected a new “90Hz smooth screen”. It will compete with OnePlus 7 Pro and Razer Phone 2.

A Smooth Display That Will Compete With The 90Hz Panel Of The OnePlus 7 Pro

The next-generation flagship is expected to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 instead of the Plus variant announced last month. As a rule, Google generally equips its flagships with only 4 GB of RAM. But this time it is bringing it to 6 GB. The basic 64 GB configuration seems to be ready to be maintained in addition to the separate 128 GB option. Expandable memory cannot be provided via a microSD card slot.

Complete internal setup on Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL should be 2,800 mAh and 3,700 mAh respectively. As a reference, last year’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have 2,915 mAh and 3,430 mAh cells. Other features should include Android 10 Q directly, new features in Google Assistant. These are probably related to the next-generation Assistant launched on Google I/O in May and stereo speakers.

A Telephoto Camera And A DSLR Accessory

Since Google’s Pixel flagships are already compatible with Super Res Zoom. It seemed logical to assume that the second Pixel 4 camera would be a wide-angle implementation. According to today’s information, the Silicon Valley-based company has selected a 16-megapixel snapper that is combined with a telephoto lens. At this stage, it is not clear why Google chose this. But it might be planning to replicate the Huawei P30 Pro 5x optical zoom system without using a periscope lens. You can do this by combining your Super Res Zoom software with the 2x or 3x optical zoom. Make sure that it is compatible with the included telephoto lens.

There should be a 12-megapixel main camera similar to the one found in the Pixel 3 series last year. There is no news on a wide-angle camera option at this stage, but Google may still surprise us all. Although it is simply a prerequisite at this stage. It is possible that the main rear camera is paired with a standard super wide-angle lens. To get the images that the main camera would normally produce. Google could crop wide-angle shots and use its Super Res Zoom software to help produce high-quality photos. Therefore, the Pixel 4 series would offer the three features by most of the 2019 flagships with only two cameras.

While it is the problem of cameras, it is worth noting that Google is preparing a camera accessory similar to a DSLR for its upcoming flagships. No details were provided, but will probably be offered as an accessory at launch.

Announcement And Release Date Of Google Pixel 4 And Pixel 4 XL

The Google Pixel 4 series is expected to become official in October, perhaps 8 or 9. Advance orders should start immediately after the event. And should be followed by a launch just over a week later, perhaps Friday 18 October. Unfortunately, the price remains a total mystery right now.
